Annual Sportsman's Dinner

Thursday 15th March - Further updated info

The speakers have now been booked for the Annual Sportsmans Dinner.

As the dinner is on the Thursday before the England v. Ireland International at Twickenham on the following Saturday we have managed to book former Ireland and Lions prop Paul Wallace, who will be in England for the weekend. Apart from being a well known former pleyer he is also a leading rugby pundit with Sky Sports. He comes from a unique family, with three brothers playing for Ireland. Apart from Paul, his elder brother Richard also played and his younger brother David is still in the Irish Squad.

He comes with a strong track record as a knowledgable and highly entertaining speaker

He will be supported by Aaron James, a well known comedian and impressionist. He frequently speaks at Rugby Dinners and is regularly at Twickenham, entertaining corporate guests at pre-match lunches.

One table of 20 has been reserved for players at a reduced price of £30 for those players who pay subs by monthly standing order – for other players the price is £40.

Dress code for this table is club blazer and tie.

If you want to reserve a place put your name on the list on the club notice board next to the bar at the Lindum

Ticket money must be paid to Andy Owen by 3rd March

A Booking Form is available on the website now - click here for link. We will be going "public" with the details in early January.
