The mantra I am looking to instil into the Mob this year is to outthink your opponents!

Within the ranks of the U15s - combat, size and speed is becoming less relevant.

The gap is closing and the rugby turf is becoming a 60 minute battle of attrition as 30 young men face off against their respective numbers to slug it out.

And here lies the secret in plain sight… if you can’t out muscle your opponent, then out think them.

Make your opponent question…think…hesitate…. And then strike!

And strike we did against the size advantage of Rasen.

The Mob’s pack working in symbiosis hunting like wolves to the prey, before releasing their dynamic brothers to twist and turn the opponent’s defence into knots.

Tries flying in from all angles including another for rookie sensation Luke Cartwright (That’s 2 in 2).

Forward of the match went to Ollie Lawton for a powerful tackling master class (with special mention to Sam Yarwood)

Back of the Match went to Seb Griffin for his mesmerising and commanding display (with special mention again to Harry Taylor)

In two weeks we host Newark…
