

Lincolnshire Lancers finished as runners-up in their latest tournament as they travelled to Preston to take part in the second series day of the season.
The Lancers fielded a team of 10 players, including two from Birmingham Longhorns (Ric and Deon), and they won four of their five matches.
Lincolnshire Lancers started the tournament with an impressive 4-1 win over Nottingham Hurricanes thanks to a brace of tries from Logan Teague, and one each by captain Ash Vamplew and Deon.
The Lancers followed that up with another win - this time 2-1 against Coventry Corsairs with tries from Vamplew and Ty Donnelly.
Donnelly was again on the scoresheet, along with vice captain Orion Fergie, as the Lancers lost their first match of the tournament - a 5-2 defeat against Sheffield Vulcans.
The Lancers bounced back with a hard-fought 3-2 victory against Preston Typhoons thanks to tries from Vamplew, Teague and Paul Memmory-Evans.
The Lancers secured the runners-up spot with a battling 3-2 win against Birmingham Longhorns. Teague grabbed a brace of tries and Deon scored one.
It wasn't just on the pitch that the Lancers succeeded as two of their players - Orion Fergie and Liam Earley - also refereed two games apiece.
After the tournament, vice captain Fergie said: "Overall, it was an amazing day and as a team we couldn’t be prouder."
